European Conference on the Bioeconomy
Review ACHEMA 2015
EU-Bioeconomy and HORIZON 2020 revisited: How far have we come since ACHEMA 2012?
High-profile speakers from German and other European institutions and industry analysed the status quo of the bioeconomy. What is the current situation of the bioeconomy in the European Union? What progress has been made in the individual member states? How do policy initiatives and funding programmes react to this challenge? Additionally, examples from selected product groups demonstrated the extent to which biobased products have already reached the market.
This follow-up conference to the event at ACHEMA 2012, which culminated in the compilation of the ACHEMA Manifesto, traced the development of the bioeconomy over the past three years.
