Scratch resistance, anti-fog, anti-refl ective and self-cleaning properties are functionalities effi ciently integrated by nanotechnological materials and processes. Analytical challenges and opportunities are also important in this regard. The reliable analysis of nano- coatings or implemented nanomaterials is an important aspect of successful market penetration of nanotechnological innovations and, later on, process control. Experts from industry and academia will talk about related success stories. Complete programme will be available at www.achema.de/congressplanner. 10:30 Hall 4.0, Europa Why funding is more than getting money When it comes to ‘funding’, often everything is down to numbers. While acquiring state funding, convincing a venture capitalist to join in or getting a bank loan is undisputedly the central aspect, there is much more to this topic. What should be considered when creating a European consortium to participate in Horizon 2020 calls? Which pitfalls await inventors when it comes to patenting? How important is the role of the right communication strategy? This session, organized by Hessen-Nanotech, will provide answers to these questions. But of course, venture capital and state funding are addressed as well.
