ACHEMA Media Award

Journalistic coverage of science and technology

The ACHEMA Media Award is awarded to authors of media content which makes science and technology topics accessible to a broad public. The award winning ceremony will take place within the ACHEMA 2022.

The ACHEMA Media Award is given to authors of media contributions that make topics from science and technology accessible to a broader public. The focus is on chemistry, process engineering and biotechnology, but also on related topics such as environmental technology.

For the first time, three contributions will be awarded:

  • The main prize is endowed with 10,000 euros.
  • The second prize is 5,000 euros.
  • The author of the third-placed contribution will receive 3,000 euros.

The ACHEMA Media Award will be handed over to the winners at ACHEMA 2022. The DECHEMA Board on the recommendation of a jury comprising representatives from industry, universities and the media decides on the awarding of the ACHEMA Media Award.
