What’s new at ACHEMA 2022?
As a platform and international marketplace for the latest trends in technology and services, ACHEMA drives developments in all sectors of the process industry. There is no other event in the calendar that offers such a comprehensive mix of pioneering technology and global networking - an up-close experience that appeals to all the senses and inspires sustainable connections. See what's new at ACHEMA and find out what makes ACHEMA once again the driving force and groundbreaker for the international process industries and their suppliers.
The Digital Hub will be the central meeting point for experts, enthusiasts and others who are interested in bits & bytes.
Representatives of the digital economy will be on hand to answer the questions you have always wanted to ask at ACHEMA. The Center Stage will offer a world-class program of on-stage events and will represent a great opportunity for networking. AccessPoints will allow you to delve even deeper into the subject matter and exchange ideas and experience with experts from four subject areas: Engineering & Operations, Data Integration & Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and Cyber Security.
More informationen on the Digital Hub can be found here.
This special area on sustainable production and circular economy will highlight the challenges facing the process industry on the way to climate-neutral production and bring together stakeholders, opinion leaders, experts and interested parties from all over the world.
The focus will be on five areas which strongest fit to ACHEMA: sustainable chemistry, bio-based economy, raw materials, energy and water. As the leading platform for the process industry, we will strive to expand the scope beyond "just" innovative solutions already on display: we will bring together start-ups, institutions in science, technology, business, education and finance as well as political and regulatory protagonists together for an interdisciplinary discourse.
Founders and young entrepreneurs will exhibit in the exhibition group "Research & Innovation" in the new Start-Up Area...
...which will be bustling with technology pioneers, decision makers, users, start-up accelerators, enablers, universities and companies.
You can look forward to:
Focal topics are identified anew for every ACHEMA and feature topics that are currently trending in industry.
Present your solutions to a broad auditorium at ACHEMA.
The Digital Lab
Data from all lines of research and production come together in the laboratory. Modular, automated and fully connected, the digital laboratory is a data mine for process development and quality assurance.
Product and Process Security
In the age of the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, special attention must be paid to the interfaces between the real and virtual worlds. Cyber Security is becoming an increasing challenge for networked production.
Modular and Connected Production
Smaller batch sizes, faster cycles, connected and modular hardware – digitalization is driving industrial production forward.

In 2022, ACHEMA is once again home to the full scope of technology and services for the process industry on the entire Frankfurt exhibition grounds - safe and secure!
For the first time the new Hall 12 will be home to the "Mechanical Processes" and the newly created "Digital Hub".
The "Research and Innovation" exhibition group has now moved more into the center of the ACHEMA site. Together with the Circular Innovation Zone and the Start-Up Area, Hall 6 will thus become a new epicenter where the heartbeat of the process industry will be felt particularly strongly.
The ACHEMA Congress will again be a meeting place for knowledge-seekers from research, development and operations. Discussions explore what is needed, what is technically feasible and what trends will shape the process industry in the future.
The PRAXISforums, characterized by short presentations of current production issues, best practices and ready-to-use technologies, will have a close eye on the application and are expanded due to its high demand.
The Congress sessions cover the latest trends in research and development, process engineering and plant/apparatus construction - from proof-of-concept to the point of market launch. The Congress Programme can be found here.
In times of Corona, ACHEMA consistently relies on hybrid. We are in close contact with the health authorities and all our organizational partners to ensure that the most current requirements are met.
An unforgettable and safe trade show experience on-site, smart expands with digital offers.
In order to ensure safe and secure event operations for all attendees even in times of Corona, we have expanded ACHEMA's existing health and safety concept in constant consultation with the site operator and the local health authorities, successively adapting it to changing conditions and incorporating recommendations from the WHO and RKI (Robert Koch-Institut, a federal institute within the portfolio of the German Federal Ministry of Health).
The following package of measures serves to protect everyone (employees, exhibitors, visitors, service providers, etc.).
General rules of hygiene
Special hygiene precautions
Infrastructure & hall design
Information on entry and quarantine regulations
The entry of trade show attendees from abroad is also possible in times of Corona. ACHEMA participants from countries outside the EU currently have to prove their participation in the trade show when applying for a visa or respectively when entering Germany:
Here are just three of the many reasons why ACHEMA should be a fixed entry in your diary:
Acquire a complete overview and be inspired in the shortest possible time - with new ideas, exciting innovations and technologies you can actually touch.
Gain the decisive impetus to drive your projects forward and lead them to success - for the benefit of "profit, people and planet".
Meet like-minded people, opinion leaders and unconventional thinkers from all around the world and establish the network you need - regardless of industry or country boundaries.
