The IPNF forum has been promoting technology exchange between Germany and Japan since 1998 in a wide range of industries including the chemical industry as well as pharmaceuticals. DECHEMA and the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ) have signed a MoU to regularize the exchange.
In view of the travel restrictions due to the pandemic, the IPNF forum will be held in a hybrid format of a real conference and a remote conference.
The IPNF will also be held at INCHEM 2023 in Tokyo in 2023, and we hope that the IPNF will serve as a gateway for more active technological exchange between Japan and European countries, and that many European companies will participate in Japanese exhibitions.

This forum consisted of three sessions in the following four areas: Particle Design and Novel Formulation Processes, Fundamental Technologies for Realization of Cyber-Physical Systems in Solid Dosage Form Production Processes, Nanomaterials Creation and Novel Catalytic Applications, and Mass Production of Pure Protein by Crystallization.
