What they have in common is that they exploit the technological solutions enabled by process engineering. As a result, the holistic concept of production-integrated environmental protection has become one of the hallmarks of ACHEMA. Nowhere is the integration of molecular and industrial biotechnology so tangible than at ACHEMA. Dwindling water resources show that efficient industrial water management is a prerequisite for the operation of an industrial site. Moreover, the challenges facing us today, such as the energy turnaround, call for innovative solutions – which, in turn, are dependent on advances in materials science. Without sound safety concepts, however, all of this is … futile! Technological diversity singles out ACHEMA as the hub of the worldwide innovation network, pushing new frontiers in the process industry by creating synergies. GUEST EVENTS HIGHLIGHT NEW TRENDS • Process automation The expert round tables, organised by NAMUR with ZVEI and ARC, address current issues in instrumentation, control and automation technology.
