ACHEMA 2021 will be postponed to 2022. The new event date is 4 - 8 April 2022. Venue will again be Frankurt am Main, Germany.

ACHEMA 2024 will take place from 10 - 14 June 2024.
It is generally possible for trade fair participants from abroad to enter Germany even in times of COVID-19.
No travel restrictions apply for travellers from EU member states and from countries on the so-called positive list.
Trade fair participants from all other countries can also enter Germany, as they are considered business travellers with an urgent need to travel.
ACHEMA participants from these countries must provide proof of their participation in the trade fair when applying for a visa or respectively when entering Germany:

Citizens from countries requiring a visa who travel to Germany to visit ACHEMA or exhibit at ACHEMA require a business travel visa.

In Germany, quarantine regulations are issued by the individual federal states. According to these, people entering Germany from a risk area are currently generally exempt from the quarantine obligation if they enter with a negative corona test. If, when entering the country you already carry with you a test result, to be valid the test may not have been conducted more than 48 hours prior to entry. The test certificate must be written in German or English. Before entering the country, ACHEMA participants should check which quarantine and testing obligations apply in the respective federal state they are entering. ACHEMA takes place in Frankfurt/Main, which belongs to the federal state of Hessen.
