Process Innovation Asia Pacific – Powered by ACHEMA

With Process Innovation Asia Pacific – Powered by ACHEMA (PIA), Southeast Asia’s first process-technology trade show had launched. It was organized by Constellar and DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH and the premiere took place from 19–21 November 2024 at the Singapore EXPO.

Singapore, as an innovation and technology hub, plays a key role in driving change, catalyzing innovations and promoting sustainable growth in the (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological and food processing industries. Under the motto “Inspiring Sustainable Growth,” PIA 2024 provided insights, technologies and best practices addressing regional challenges and strengthened collaboration among industry leaders, solution providers and regulatory authorities.

The focus areas of PIA are:

  • Industrial growth and sustainable development in Asia
  • Digital advances and innovations
  • Sustainability and environmentally friendly practices

Facts about PIA

100 companies from 20 countries and regions, they showcased innovations that improved performance and cut carbon emissions, advancing process industry sustainability.

Core areas: process technology, engineering & green tech, automation & digitalization, packaging/storage/supply chains, laboratory/quality control/analytics.

Countries included Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.

The three-day conference program included over 50 sessions with more than 40 industry experts, including thematic focus areas on pharma/biotechnology and regional collaboration.

Two technical workshops by the Singapore Chemical Industry Council addressed safety and cyber security.
